Christmas in the bedroom.

The banister going upstairs, he is pretty cute. Just a little suggestion, I have every bit of my Christmas up Thanksgiving day-because nothing makes me more thankful then having that done! Then I can start right in on the important stuff, like baking and hanging out with my family. I used to start after Thanksgiving but then I lost a week of December decorating-not good! Give it a try next year, I think you will like it!

Down in my moms Christmas stash, I found a box labeled, "Dickens". In it I found a treasure of Dickens ornaments! So I decorated my tree in my room with them.

There were about six big Santa's with a Dickens scene painted on them.

I was reading a Paula Dean magazine years ago where she said she all ways put a tree in her room so she could escape and enjoy it at night, I stared that year doing one in my room and it is all ways my most appreciated tree.

This poor old tree has to be about 15 years old. It is so old that we pulled off all the lights and had to re-string it!

I even decorated my bathroom. My poor husband! He is so good to put up with me, I know it drives him crazy, but he lets me do it any way. I love him!

Well there it is! My favorite room of all.... Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Christmas in the kitchen!

I did the kitchen in green and red. It was so much fun decorating the new addition.

I bought this tree at a yard sale for $2.00. I spray painted it silver, it was gold, and hung some ornaments I bought at Pier One. I love how it turned out.

I am so happy with these canisters, I got them in red, black poka-dots and green stripes. I can use them for so many different holidays.

On the dinning room hutch I used some of my moms old  Snow Village, she hasn't used them for over 15 years! It was fun to get them out and I am planning on not giving them back.

I love how this pencil tree turned out.

I love setting up a table for the Christmas holiday. I didn't put out my dishes because I didn't want them to get dusty.

The Family room tree was a blast to decorate. I had turning ornaments and everyone loved them!

I guess I should have done my dishes, what am I saying?!?!?!
My dishes are never done.

I have never been a big "Snow Village" lover but I guess now I am.

I just love this shelf, whether it has Halloween stuff or Christmas stuff it's pretty fun to decorate.

Christmas in the living room

The entry way and living room .

I love this old rock fire place, we all most tore it out when we bought the house, but we found out it was a favorite rock collection of a sweet old lady who has been gone a long time. How could we destroy it after finding that out? I am so grateful we didn't!

I all ways decorate my living room with my Nativity collection. A friend gave me this idea a few years ago, to help us remember the real meaning of Christmas, and it does! I love my Nativity room.

Sorry I didn't take a picture when I was completely done so the ugly cord is showing, that got hid.
